Uparamā – Understanding. Our ability to see things from different points of view. Opposite of Understanding is intolerance – not able to accept the view of another.

Uparamā

Uparamā means to be understanding and be able to see from the point of view of others. Uparamā lets go of the feeling of “I’m right, what I think, and what I want matters most”.Uparmā is the curutal virtue to have rich and meaningful relationships in life.

Practice

Simple rule: Speak and Listen Honestly.

Speak:- The truth – Sweetly (without the intention to do harm)- Things that are beneficial

Listen:- To understand not to respond- To find something to learn- To help, not to criticize

RAW
