Lesson:
“Tough times are only times”
- ‘Tough times’ are not constant they will keep changing.
- Hellen Keller was blind and deaf as a result of sickness at the age of 2. She then completed school as well as college. She afterwards became an author and an activist in spite of how tough her life was with disabilities.
- We can learn that ‘tough times are only times’ from Helen. Tough times will end one day. The choice is ours, we can either worry about the ‘tough times’ in our life and be sad, or we can release the disappointment of the ‘tough times’ and be happy.
- ‘Tough Times make people stronger like Hellen Keller’s life.
- It’s only the time you’re in trouble you feel trouble.
Practice: Hold your breath (‘Tough Times are Only Times’)
- We held our breath as long as we could. This shows how strong you can be during tough times.
- We then held our breath thinking of someone we care and love. We realize it is easy to do it this way because you are motivated.
