Review

When the Little Prince visited the vain man. The vain man asked the Little Prince to praise him so the Little Prince did. When someone is mindful, they are fine without getting attention.

Story

There was a stone cutter who was dissatisfied with his job. He wished to be a wealthy merchant, and he became one. He wanted to be a high official so he wished to be one and he became one. Similarly, he wished to be the sun, a storm cloud, the wind, and finally he wished to be a towering stone. When he became the stone, he felt the hammer breaking him. Then he wished to be the stone cutter.

Message of Story

The grass is greener on the other side.

Practice: being careful and being engaged

1. A Girl is sitting in a house with no lights, yet she is reading, how? Answer: she is reading brail

Welcome to Happy Hour Jr. Notes.

Today’s story will be about the stonecutter. One day, the stonecutter was walking down a path. He came across a merchant’s house. The merchant looked so rich. Then suddenly, the stonecutter became the merchant. He enjoyed dinners, and ate lovely stuff. Then one day, he saw an official. Everyone bowed to him, no matter how rich they were. He desired to be one. And then he became the official. He sat in his palanquin all day. One day, it was super hot. He saw the sun, shining down. The sun is not bowing to me. How independant! And then, the stonecutter became the sun. He shined down on the land, roasting the crops. Then one day, a cloud came forward. It blocked his rays. The stonecutter thought about him blocking the sun. And then he became the cloud. He rained and rained on the land. And then suddenly, the wind came and blew him away. So the wind is the most powerful. And then he became the wind. He blew everyone’s stuff, and then one day he came to a mountain. He could not move it no matter what. So the mountain is most powerful. And then he became the mountain. And then one day, he felt chinks on his body. A stonecutter was chopping off the stone. How powerful! Then he became the stonecutter. The values are Sumarga=Careful. Leela, Engaged

Have you ever heard the saying be careful what you wish for? I have. So in the story, he wished for many things, and in the end, he became what he was at the beginning. It was like a cycle. So some ways to be careful, is to not drop things, keep your mind at one place, focus, and go easy.

Let’s shift to Leela. So, what do you call when you zone out of something, and do your own thing. You get BORED. I’m betting that all of you told your parents that you got bored. Yes, you did!
