Story –

Shanker Ji had to do a chore of taking care and feeding a cow in Trinidad Ashram. He thought of it negatively and he didn’t go well with the cow.

He had to wake up early in the morning and do lots of things for the cow

that’s why he didn’t like it. Once he got stuck on a rope that was

attached to the cow and he got dragged like a cartoon character.

Later that day he was going to ask the teacher to get rid of this chore, that

same day the teacher was talking about the story where Krishna stole some butter to share with his friends. When you think about it, who’s butter was it?

The cow’s! Butter was made from milk which was from a cow.

Then Shanker Ji realized the chore was a way of helping and repaying the cows.

He thought of the chore as treating a responsibility as an active service. Then he and the cow got along much better.

Lesson

Think of chores as an active service, it will feel rewarding and you will accomplish easier.
