Summary of last session (May 14) by Shri Mohan Khandekar

Shri Vijay ji started the session with more explanation of the word ‘Sarvagya (सर्वज्ञ). Theoretically there is only ONE but with His power He can make many.  In other words you can be Him once liberated (जीवनमुक्त).

52:1 Vijay ji explained the meaning of the word Uma as following

 Uma उमा =उम(ओम) +मा(या) or also can be interpreted as महेश + ऐश्वर्य (शक्ती).

52:2 Laxman got the power to recognise the real swaroop of Sati from Shri Ram.  The word Matidheera (मातिधीरा) means intelligence. Vijayji drew our attention to another word “sabardasi (सबरदसी), which means Omniscient, Omnipotent and Omnipresent, Brahman.

Sumeerat (सुमीरत): The ONE who gives. Bhagvan gives a devotee what he wants. Shri Krishna too in  Geeta says “I am close to devotees who worship Me”

52:3: Here Tulsidas ji uses the word Nijmaya (निजमाया), which means His Maya.

As Krishna says in Chapter 7 of Bhagavad Geeta

दैवी ह्येषा गुणमयी मम माया दुरत्यया |

मामेव ये प्रपद्यन्ते मायामेतां तरन्ति ते || 14||

“One needs to transcend the Maya to reach Me”.

Ma Saraswati says Ramcharit Manas is  the summary of Upanishads.

Upanishads have four MAHAVAKYAS. One of them is That Thou Are ( तत्वमसि)

53:1: We do not know we are “THAT” because of our ignorance (निज अज्ञानु)

53:2 onward, Sati sees Ramchandra ji everywhere, He has been hailed by Rishis Munis and Devtas, She witnesses His Omnipresent nature and Infinite Glories.  This overwhelms and terrified Dakshakumari (Sati) returns to Shiv ji.

Doha 55: Smiling, Shivji asks “how was the test? Tell me honestly”.

We will have to wait for the answer till September.

Vijay ji encouraged participants to share their views, opinions and comments before closing the session.

Jai Shree Ram.
