~Om Aniketaya Namah: I admire the one who has no home.
- What does this mean?
It means that you are comfortable anywhere and in any situation.
- How can you practice that?
You should not have specific preferences or having strong likes or dislikes. It is not having a strong feeling that this is mine.
~Om Krtatmane Namah: I admire the one that is self made.
- What does it mean?
The actions and habits we are practicing now will shape our future self. It means that everything we do should be for a specific reason.
- How can you practice this?
You can do the actions you do for a reason. Not just mindlessly.
~Om Amgla-Bhasa-Viduttamaya Namah: I admire the one who is good at communicating.
- What does it mean?
It means that if someone says something don’t just answer it without thinking about it or what you are going to say.
- How can I practice this?
You can practice this by thinking about what you are going to say. Next, you can try to feel from the other person’s perspective, don’t always think you are right about every topic. And give them your full attention.
~Om Gunatitaya Namah: I admire those who have control over their moods.
- What does that mean?
No matter what we are feeling on the inside we are still able to do the right thing on the inside.
- How can I practice this?
You have the ability to overcome it.
~Om Phalasakti Rahitaya Namah: I admire the one who can cheerfully accept whatever comes.
- What does this mean?
So you do your best no matter what you do and you don’t really focus on the outcome. A saying that Swami Chinmayanada said was “ Do your best and leave the rest.”
- How can I practice this?
You can practice this by doing your part in the assignment or whatever you have to do and then leave the rest.
~Om Samnyasine Namah: I admire the one who lives simply.
- What does that mean?
You need less to be happy.
- How can I practice this?
To practice this you can worry less.
