Suhrd – To be friendly

Being friendly means caring about other people’s growth and learning. When you help your friend become a better person, by giving them positive feedback on how they can improve,  it shows that you are truly a good friend. 

Lesson

Om Medhavine Namaha – we admire the one who strives to become a better person. 

• In order to improve, grow, and learn, need to overcome boredom
• Overcome boredom strategy: create small challenges the moment you are having the boredom feeling
• This makes you more engaged in the activity you are participating in
• Boredom occurs when we have no interest in the subject matter, and therefore, we lack in concentration and enthusiasm about the topic
• When having the feeling of boredom, we don’t know what we like doing
• When we don’t know our hobbies, we need to get rid of addictions
• Addictions limits the time we need to reflect on our own interests
• If our mind engaged in one activity, causes addiction, one interest, one focus, and no adventurous mindset
• Solution: Explore, be willing to learn and grow, experience new hobbies, reflect on yourself and well-being, learn about yourself and who you are
• Create the space that is required in order to explore new activities and in order to ignore any feelings of boredom

Activity

We did an mysterious, intriguing Hogwarts Escape room, and the reason for engaging in this activity is to overcome any challenges which can cause boredom. For instance, if someone were to come across a challenging question, they may just give up, and not have any feeling of engaging in that activity. However, if we overcome that emotion, and give it our best shot, we are participating in that one activity with a positive attitude.
