Hari Om (Summary of last session May 7) by Shri Mohan Khadekar

Vijay ji started the session with Lord Shiva and His “biography” in relation to who He is. Many of us do not comprehend that Ramcharit Manas is composed by none other than Shiv ji himself.

Vijay ji recapped the “the Sati in doubt” incident and why Shiv ji called Shri Ram, Sacchidanand.

52:1 Laxman not saying anything upon seeing Sati in the form of Seeta is called Sabhyata (सभ्यता). Tulsidas ji, here calls Laxman to have a balanced intellect.  We should strive to have this nature.

52:2 Tulsidas ji calls Shri Ram to be the Supreme Divinity of not only mankind but of Devatas too. The fourth portion of the Sortha is important which says  the ignorance disappears just by taking His name.

52:3/4 Sati tries to hide her real identity by posing to be Sita but Shri Ram, knower of EVERYTHING, knows her and introduces Himself (as per rule of Dharma). He then asks “where is Shiv ji and why are you away from Him?” (You are away from The Knowledge)

Doha 53: Upon hearing the question, Sati felt ashamed. Dejected Sati with a guilty feeling returned to Shiv ji.

Jai Shree Ram
