Apply for a hands-on master class with Shri Vivek to become skilled at connecting with students and sharing our passion for Vedanta. This program focuses on how teaching Sanatana Dharma can be a tool for sadhana for educators.  This is an opportunity for realizing our potential by teaching and facilitating under the guidance of Vivekji to follow and further our dharma.

Registration: open to ONLY 12 seekers

Application: ENDS Jun 15, 2023

Duration: one Hour per Week FOR one Year commencing Jun 30, 2023 (virtually)

When: Every Thursday from 6 – 7a ET (for participants in ET and CT time zones) and 10 – 11p (for participants in PT & MT time zones)

The program includes components such as classes, practical experience, a final project, and discussions with Vivekji and professionals on the following topics:

  • Teaching as a spiritual practice and personal growth through facilitation.
  • Effective teaching methods, creating lesson plans, making Vedanta relevant to daily life, and assessing student learning.
  • Adapting spiritual texts for different age groups and demographics, including elementary/middle school classes, JCHYKs & CHYK, CSK, Vanaprastha, newcomers to Sanatana Dharma, and families.
  • Confidently communicating, facilitating activities, and storytelling to accommodate diverse learning styles.

Eligibility and Selection:

  • Minimum requirement: Studied with Vivekji for at least two academic years.
  • Registration: Ends 11:59p on Jun 15, 2023.
  • Application components:
    • Five-minute personal video explaining reasons for applying for the program, including life’s purpose and aspirations as a full-time seeker. 
    • Answers to questions about prior self-development journey.
  • Final selection: Made by Vivekji
