May 2020
- RAW for the week of May 13, 2020 — Create a rap of all the 52 virtues learnt! Share with others to inspire them!
- RAW for the week of May 6, 2020 — List out all 51 values we have studied so far in English. For an extra challenge, try to list all the values in Sanskrit too! Also, watch the Rise & Shine message from May 7th and complete the RAD.
April 2020
- RAW for the week of April 29, 2020 — Express your gratitude to support the work and more classes! Explain to your parents how worthwhile and valuable Happy Hour is for you and how it extends to all part of your life. Offer your gratitude so more can happen!
- RAW for the week of April 22, 2020 — Send a thank you note to First Friend Anvita for helping with our classes!
- RAW for the week of April 15, 2020 — Every time you use your name, give your parents a hug! To challenge yourself further— every time you say “I”, go and give your parents a hug!
- RAW for the week of April 8, 2020 — Find out how did your parents come up with your name and what does your name mean?
- RAW for the week of April 1, 2020 — This week, every day learn and tell a new joke (with a punch line) to a different person!
March 2020
- RAW for the week of March 25, 2020 — This week, every day at 9am, 12pm and 6pm, write “Shanti” 20 times.
- RAW for the week of March 11, 2020 — This week, make a new friend at school, or otherwise!
- RAW for the week of March 4, 2020 — This week, every hour that you are awake, write the word “faith” once.
February 2020
- RAW for the week of February 26, 2020 — Everyday this week, write something kind for someone (at your house, in your school, even yourself) on a piece of paper and put it somewhere they can find it!
- RAW for the week of February 19, 2020 — Having learnt 34 values so far, plan the best birthday party this Friday! Figure out whose birthday it is too!
- RAW for the week of February 12, 2020 — On Bhakti Anudinam (Valentine’s day) write a note/letter or make a card for everyone who is helping you become more loving and mail it to them!
- RAW for the week of February 5, 2020 — Everyday for 30 minutes, study for the test next week. 18 classes, 18 questions!
January 2020
- RAW for the week of January 29, 2020 — Throughout this week, Whenever you are feeling frustrated… Sit down, close your eyes, and breath in and out through your nose until you are no longer frustrated.
- RAW for the week of January 22, 2020 — Every day this week, do 25 push ups and 50 sit ups! Ask your parents to do it with you!
- RAW for the week of January 15, 2020 — Water, milk — Yes! Juice, chocolate milk, lemonade etc — NO! Fruits and vegetables — Yes! Processed snacks — NO!
- RAW for the week of January 8, 2020 — Share what you have learnt, how you have changed through Happy Hour!
December 2019
- RAW for the week of December 11, 2019 — Every time you are with your family — parents, grandparents, siblings, cousins, friends — speak in a calm tone. Remember to not speak in an annoyed or angry way.
November 2019
- RAW for the weeks of November 20 & 27 and December 4, 2019 — Every day find a new space in your home and read & write there for 30 minutes. Enjoy, smile and be happy!
- RAW for the week of November 13, 2019 — Every day before you go to school, walk/ circle around your parents and school books 3 times. Once you come back, walk/circle around the books 3 times. Circle around your parents 3 times before going to bed.
- RAW for the week of November 6, 2019 — Throughout this week, use cool water to wash your hands, brush your teeth or take a shower. Remember to be pleasant!
October 2019
- RAW for the week of October 30, 2019 — When you feel frustrated, say out loud Shantih! If you can not say out loud, think of it in your mind.
- RAW for the week of October 23, 2019 — Throughout the week, give attention to people around you instead of seeking it!
- RAW for the week of October 16, 2019 — Step/walk silently around your house. Ever so quiet, like a spy!
- RAW for Week of October 9, 2019 — Clean all the windows and mirrors in your house and your car(s). Take your parents’ help and be safe doing it!
- RAW for Week of October 2, 2019 — Change something about you or your lifestyle to help the environment.
September 2019
- RAW for Week of September 25, 2019 — Every time you feel stress, anxiety or fear — Smile! Every time you feel angry — Laugh! Challenge yourself by doing this in front of the mirror.
- RAW for Week of September 18, 2019 — Throughout the week, observe the people in your class and observe the minds of those who follow the rules and intellect of those who do not.
- RAW for Week of September 11, 2019 — Think of the most recent gift you received. Reflect on how it made you feel when you first received it and how do you feel about it now.
