Story

There once was an old man. He couldn’t see, or hear, and his knee hurt. He spilled his food all over the place. His son thought he was disgusting. The old man was told to eat in the corner of the house. He was given a wooden bowl and ate out of it. The son’s child started to gather small pieces of wood. The son asked his child why he was gathering small pieces of wood. His child answered: “Because when you are old you can eat out of this bowl, like grandpa.” The son started crying and let his dad sit at the table no matter if he spilled soup or food.

Lesson

The golden rule- We should treat others how they want to be treated.The son only treated his child nice and treated his dad mean and poor.

Wear a rubber band. When you say something bad about yourself or others, pull the rubber band and let it go.
