Review:
In Shankarji’s class we talked about how to overcome our fears in little steps. The story Shankarji told was about how Jake helped Finn overcome his fear of the ocean. The RAW last week was to sit with 3 different groups of people.
Story:
In a large vast forest, there was a very big wildfire. The creatures that lived in the forest were running for their lives! There was an owl flying when he saw a small bird going back and forth, from the river to the fire. Carrying a small amount of water in its beak each time. The owl went to the bird and said “Are you crazy”? “Why aren’t you running away from the fire like everyone else”? The bird immediately looked up at the owl and said “I am doing my very best to stop the fire”. The owl blankly looked at the bird going back and forth. Then he grabbed some water from the river with its beak and dropped it on the fire. In a matter of minutes more and more creatures started coming to help stop the spread of the wildfire. Soon the big wildfire was gone.
Lesson:
Able: You can do it – All of the creatures could do it, but they just ran away from the fire. The bird actually tried.
Capable: You can do anything if you try – For example, in the story the bird was so tiny, the bird still showed that you can do anything no matter the size, like Roger Bannister.
RAW:
