REVIEW

Last week’s story was about a human and each day she had less and less hair but she still had really really good days. The moral from the story was The Three A’s: accept and alter your attitude.

STORY

Once there was a lioness who was pregnant but unfortunately she died after having the baby. The baby was wondering what to do when he saw a herd of sheep and a mama sheep saw him and she said,

 “Come on over”.

The lion started to live with the sheep but the sheep kept asking the lion,

“Why aren’t you fluffy like us? Why can’t you baa like us and why are you orange?”

Because of this the lion felt sad and he wondered why he wasn’t like the other sheep. One day a lioness saw the sheep. She ran after them. It was chaos. Then the lioness saw the baby lion. She ran after him and asked him what he was doing in this herd of sheep. The lion replied,

“I’m just a sheep please don’t eat me!”

The lioness said, “But you’re a lion.”

The lion said, “I’m just a sheep, please let me go!”

The lioness took the baby lion to a pond and said “Look at yourself, look at me and then look at those sheep over there.”

The lion realized she was a lion and roared. The sheep got scared but the lion went over and thanked them for taking care of him. He stayed with them and protected them as they had helped him shape who he was.

LESSON:

From this story we learned the Three B’s:

  1. Be yourself
  2. Be courageous
  3. Be decisive

ACTIVITY:

We played a game where Sumanji asked some questions like

“Do you like chocolate?”

“Have you lied?”

“Do you like watching cartoons?”

If the answer was yes, you stood up. We played this activity to learn more about ourselves and to practice the 3 Bs.

RAW:

Every morning and night, look in the mirror, smile and hug yourself
