Notes by Vastavi Choudhari

Vivekji started the class off by doing some guided imagery to celebrate Hanumanji.

Q and A

Q – When i wake up in the morning I always think that oh i forgot to turn this one assignment that was due in then i remember that I did it. How can I stop having that problem?

A – If you want to stp this first you should sleep earlier cause the people who don’t sleep early are the ones who are pushing things off. Also you should keep a physical planner with you where you can write your assignments and once they are done cross it off so that you know you did it.

Q – My motivation for studying are my grades and I want to know if there is a better way to stay motivated?

A – Vivekji said that your motivation being your grades is a bad thing because once you get to higher grades there will be people who have better grades than you and that can bring you down, one way you can stay motivated is by thinking not only of college or of your future job but beyond that. Another thing Vivekji said is that enjoy your childhood and don’t not think about your job and college just yet.

Q – How do I  stop procrastinating?

A – First thing to do is sleep earlier, because those who stay up later are postponing what is important. Second, write out what you have to do, when you write it on a piece of paper it is almost like someone is telling you that you have to do that thing/task. Third, start off doing that which is easier and you will feel so good about yourself that you will start doing the harder tasks you have to do.
