Course Description:

The course ‘Waking up to your Potential’ is based off “Bhaja Govindam” by Adi Shankara. Bhaja Govindam, also known as Moha Mudgara is a timeless spiritual masterpiece that urges us to seek the divine and focus on the eternal truths of life. The text reminds us of the fleeting nature of worldly pursuits and the importance of devotion and wisdom. Through its powerful verses, Adi Shankara implores us to awaken from the illusion of materialism and embrace the path of knowledge and devotion, leading to ultimate liberation.

This course open to all seekers, resonates with anyone seeking deeper meaning and purpose, inviting the seeker to explore the profound teachings of one of Bharat’s greatest philosophers and to transform our lives through the practice of Bhakti (devotion).

Weekly Commitment:

Class takes place on zoom every Sunday morning from 11am-12pm ET (holidays will be announced in class in advance)

1 hour per session (including discussions and Q&A).

To support greater internalization of the course, course attendees are suggested 30 minutes of weekly self study.

To achieve maximum benefit, this course requires a commitment to regular weekly attendance, active listening, and participation in small group discussion.

Each student is required to acquire a hard copy of Adi Shankaracharya’s ‘Bhaja Govindam’ by Swami Chinmayananda text prior to class commencement using the following means:
