Review

Last week we discussed the 9 virtues. The first virtue was prioritization, otherwise called Viveka. Viveka helps us not regret things we skipped out of procrastination, and helps us have a better lifestyle. An example of prioritization is making a schedule, and planning every day.

Story

This week, our story was an Adventure Time episode. The story started as Fiin and Jake were fighting off zombies. Finn was using his favorite sword, but it was broken, and he almost got caught by the zombies, but Jake fought them off. Jake told Finn he needed a new sword, and Finn reluctantly agreed. They went to the market, and headed to the new shop, the grass shop. An old man greeted them, and gave Find a grass sword he liked. They later decided to go out to get a pie, where the shop owner asked Finn to cut some apples. Finn cut them with the sword, and the owner of the shop said the sword was cursed. They laughed at her and didn’t believe her. By the time they came back, it was dark outside. Finn put the sword away and went to sleep. He woke up in the night, and the sword was latched on to his wrist. He ran out of his house, and managing to remove the sword from his hand, he threw it in the river. With that, he went back to sleep, thinking he was done with the sword. The next morning when he woke up, the sword was still there, dripping with water. Jake covered the hilt and blade of the sword with bread, to keep it from latching on to Finn. They headed back to the market to return the sword, but the shop was gone. They asked their friend Goose if he knew where the grass wizard was, and goose said he lived in the grass mountains, and confirmed their fears that the sword was cursed. They journeyed up the grass mountain, and Finn used the grass sword to defeat the grass monsters that blocked their way. He realized that for a cursed sword, it was bad for fighting. When he got to the top of the hill, they told the grass wizard to remove the curse, but the grass wizard just smiled evilly and said that the grass sword would be a part of  Finn forever. Finn decided he was ok with that. As soon as he accepted the sword, it turned into a bracelet. The bracelet could turn back. into the sword when he willed it too. Because he accepted the sword, he could now control it and use it.

Lesson

The moral of the story is that when you accept a situation, then you are the one in control. The situation will be there either way. Its your choice to take it optimistically, or negatively.

RAW

This week’s raw is to flip a coin 3every time you have an unimportant decision to make. For example: Should I play video games or watch TV? Don’t flip a coin for important desicions, like, should I play video games or do my homework?
