Our Past Campaigns
Our 2023 Campaign
Since 2020, our CommUnity started to support organizations that are facilitating safety and security for Devis (women) around the world.
In 2023, we furthered our efforts towards Women’s upLIFTment by raising over $25,001 to support women and children breaking the cycle of violence and abuse in our Cleveland CommUnity. All offerings to the 2023 Elevate HERstory Fund supported the Journey Center for Safety and Healing, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality programs and services to adults, teens, and children who have been impacted by abuse.
Our 2022 Campaign
All offerings to the 2022 Elevate HERstory Fund will support the National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to restoring the sovereignty of Native nations and safeguarding Native women and their children.
As the National Indian Resource Center (NIRC) Addressing Domestic Violence and Safety for Indian Women, NIWRC supports culturally grounded, grassroots advocacy and provides national leadership to ending gender-based violence for American Indian and Alaska Native (Native) tribes, Native Hawaiians, and Tribal and Native Hawaiian organizations.
This is accomplished through the development of educational materials and programs, direct technical assistance, and the development of local and national policy that builds the capacity of Native communities and strengthens the exercise of tribal sovereignty.
Our 2021 Campaign
All offerings to the 2021 Elevate HERstory Fund supported the Chinmaya Organization for Rural Development (CORD) Sidhbari, an extraordinary non-profit centered in Himachal Pradesh, India.
For over twenty years, CORD, the secular service wing of Chinmaya Mission, has been helping rural communities create programs and adopt practices for holistic welfare, facilitating participatory, integrated, and sustainable development for underprivileged communities in over 700 villages and remote areas across India.
In particular, the Mahila Mandals are the nuclei of all CORD’s work. They are the hub from which all program components of CORD have evolved. The objective of a Mahila Mandal is to empower women financially, socially, and politically, while simultaneously enhancing their decision-making capacity. The work in this sphere ranges from microfinance self-help groups and literacy workshops to livelihood courses and public health training.
