Notes by Om Shreejay & Pranavi Ananthanarayanan
We reviewed the virtues we learned so far this year and will continue our review next week –
- Aniketa – One who has no home, who is comfortable anywhere, who lets go of the feeling that something is mine and remembers that everything we have is borrowed.
- Anushasana priya – One who loves Discipline. Doing what you’re supposed to do when you are supposed to do it.
- Kritatma – One who is self-made, one who lives with intention, with purpose, who accomplishes things by themselves and does things that make oneself better
- Vinoda – One who loves humor – one who is cheerful, happy and doesn’t take life too seriously
- Karma parayana – One who engages in meaningful actions – doing your activities with a purpose.
- Anglabhasha viduttaya – One who speaks very good English, or one who is very good at communicating with others. Think before you speak, try and see other person’s perspective, give other person your full attention.
- Gunateeta – One who is unaffected by one’s moods. Not letting how you feel inside affect what you do outside.
- Sannyasa – One who lives simply – to have less, do less and think less.
