Today’s class was a question and answer session, where Shankarji asks the class/students for their input on the answer to his questions.
Question & Answer
Shankarji – What are some things that you do or think about that make you feel happy?
Students – Drawing, being with people you love and doing activities.
Shankarji – What is the most important trait or characteristic of being a good parent?
Students – Patients, discipline, helping and open minded.
Shankarji – If your parents think that something you are doing will not make you happen but you think it will. Do they force you not to do it or do they let you go and you learn from your actions?
Students – If it is something dangerous they will force you not to do it but if it is minor they will let you go and you learn from your action.
Shankarji – What are some of the things you wanted to talk about but we did not talk about in class?
Students –How to avoid hate and ego, how to be more stronger to fight off hate, how to be honest, think of positive things not negative and how to stop addiction.
Shankarji – Any comments or questions you have for your life?
For studying do you go in one corner and focus on your work or work with your friends?
Students – I would go in one corner and do it there. This is because when you are with friends you might get a little off topic and get distracted.
Shankarji – How do you defeat greed?
Students – Always remember how much we have and be grateful for it.

We did a Q & A today. But instead of us asking and Shankarji answering, we did it opposite. Shankarji would ask questions, and we would answer.
Shankarji – What do you do to stay happy when you are a bit angry or frustrated?
Students – Drawing to calm you down, Reading, playing with friends, and Singing or Dancing.
Shankarji – What is the most important value of a parent?
Students – Patience, Discipline, Helpful, and Being Open-Minded
Shankarji – Should your parents try to stop you from doing things, or should you do it and learn from your own mistakes?
Students – Your parents should stop you if it is dangerous, but if it isn’t serious, then you can learn from your own mistakes.
Shankarji – What are things you wished you learnt in Happy Hour, but did not learn?
Students – How to get rid of greed, How to avoid anger and ego, and How to destroy Laziness
