This week instead of having a new year’s resolution we planned our vision boards. We were required to have four different goals for our vision board.
1. Improvement Goal- Something we want to improve on through the year e.g. improve reading abilities, improve painting skills, improve on listening.
2. Learning Goal- Something new we want to learn through the year e.g. learning a new language, learning a new talent, learning a new activity.
3. Service Goal- A type of service we want to do throughout the year e.g. do 3 random acts of kindness a day, donating clothes to charity every month.
4. Virtue Goal- A virtue we want to have or practice through the year e.g. Anushasana-priya- doing our responsibilities happily, Udaara-Hryidya- being large hearted.
5. Physical Goal- An active or fitness or appearance related goal e.g. running 5 laps in a row, getting more muscle, do a proper push-up.
After writing our goals we had to think of habits to help us achieve the goals. Then the last step is to add images to our board that are related to our habits/goals to remind us what we have to practice.

Notes by Vastavi Choudhari
This Week:
We learn about how to make good goals for ourselves and what to focus on in these goals.
- Improvement Goal: This is the goal where you know how to do something already but you still want to get better at it. For example, if you know how to draw but want to get better at it that could be a goal.
- Learning Goal: In this goal you want to learn something that you might know nothing about or very little. For example, I want to learn how to write in Hindi.
- Virtue Goal: For this goal you want to focus on a virtue which you want to get better at. Like I want to get better at the virtue discipline.
Q&A
What are your tips on doing better in virtual school?
Shankarji said that you should have a planner or notebook where you write down whatever you have to do and then you use that to help you. He also said it would be best if you write it on a notebook cause then you might remember it more.
